08/05/2019 So far this is the only page of Pepperpot Piper that’s just one panel. It started out as three but I really wanted to show that fire escape. Sounds strange but I’ve wanted to take a crack at painting an old iron fire escape for years and years... so many repetitive angles, overlapping layers and textures. Add the bricks behind it and it’s a full throttle artistic migraine. There’s nothing else like it. Was it self indulgent, unnecessary, arty farty? |
