I Googled the number fifty to see if it had some groovy, cosmic significance and found that:
It's written L in Roman numerals (I already knew that one)… it’s the atomic number of tin (Claudia knew that because she knows everything)… the year 50 CE was called the Year of the Consulship of Vetus and Nerullinus (which I’m absolutely certain is more than likely very, very interesting)... it was the birthday of Cai Lun (蔡倫) the guy who invented paper… AND most importantly for our purposes 50’s the number of this Pepperpot Piper page, so it’s got that going for it, too.
